The Fix Documentary Film
A tale of recovery and redemption that paints a portrait of life after heroin addiction in the Bronx.
I partnered with the filmmakers to bring the concept to life of balancing the user’s recovery, with aspects of sharing their own stories through sharing them on-stage. The film explores the concept of storytelling as an instrument of change and gives a powerful voice to a marginalized population. Ultimately a very personal story of redemption and hope, The Fix puts a human face on addiction and disease with sensitivity and grace.
Official Selection at AFI Docs and winner of the Jury Prize for Best Documentary at Soho International Film Festival.
