Liquid Gold
Partnering over the years with talented friends can be hugely beneficial. There are ways that our talents can align to do some incredible storytelling. Photographer Rachel Thurston has been a close friend for nearly 20 years, and we’ve been able to connect on a few interesting small projects.
Liquid Gold came about when Rachel, early into motherhood, determined just how much time she had been breastfeeding her child. The amount of time was staggering. But this realization led to a deeper understanding of her own body and power, and how connected mothers (breastfeeding or not), are to our kids. This project became a way to highlight and celebrate this connection and tell stories of mothers, who have shared this connection since the beginning of time.
